Bachelor in Paradise star Ivan Krslovic, 29, got brutally rejected by brunette beauty Tenille Favios on Thursday.

And while he had pal and co-star Bill Goldsmith to lean on following the intense moment - Bill's advice left a lot to be desired.

Twitter erupted in anger as Bill tried to give his friend advice on how to handle the un-returned affections for the stunning flight attendant.

Bill first reminded Ivan he has only known Tenille for six days: 'I just think she was just overwhelmed by how quick things moved between you guys,' he said.

From there, his advice started to raise plenty of eyebrows: 'When people call it off, they actually realise this is something they actually did want.'

Despite Tenille continuously telling him that she wasn't interested in taking it further, Bill continued: 'Don't lose hope. They could be exactly what you need.'
