Telling her side of the story, Billie said: 'It wasn't even a group of guests as far as we know. One guest in particular shouted it across the beach one day, "this will all be in the press tomorrow". He was clearly trying to sell stories on us across the holiday. 'It was so ridiculous because our events were private, the island was huge. We were just having fun. Her big moment: In an exclusive chat with MailOnline, the reality star, 29, said she was left 'frustrated' holiday goers tried to 'tarnish to her special day' 'It was a shame people were trying to tarnish the wedding.' 'One guest sold a story saying one of the best men fell off the bar and broke his leg but actually he hurt his knee in a football game.' She added: 'We had so much fun. It was more when the holiday ended and we went on our honeymoon that it sunk in.' And while Billie said the support from her fans was amazing, her closest friends and family were left in 'shock' by the accusations. She said: 'Everyone was in shock, we just had to laugh about it in the end. It was so ridiculous and frustrating for me. However, the former TOWIE star did admit she was left 'annoyed' and 'disappointed' her step-dad Dave Chatwood was kicked off his flight at Gatwick Airport after becoming rowdy when he mixed wine and sleeping pills. She said: 'What happened with Dad was a bl**dy nightmare. It was a big deal at the time. I thought everyone was winding me up. 'It really annoyed me, my mum, and my sister. We were all really annoyed. We were disappointed more than anything. Furious: However, the former TOWIE star did admit she was left 'annoyed' and 'disappointed' her step-dad Dave Chatwood was kicked off his flight at Gatwick Airport 'He should have been more responsible, he shouldn't haven't drunk as much alcohol and taken the sleeping tablets too early.' Describing what had happened, Billie explained: 'He had a few glasses of wine at the airport and had then taken the sleeping tablets, but they kicked in before he got on the flight, so as he was trying to get on the flight, he was trying to fight it.' She added: 'I was in shock, I thought Greg was winding me up, I thought it was just a joke, no surely not. Then my friend told me "yeah it's true they're not letting him fly." 'It was a nightmare. We just couldn't believe it. It wasn't funny. We were in shock. I thought "for God's sake, how could this happen?" Drama: Dave became rowdy when he mixed wine and sleeping pills, Billie described the situation as a bl***y nightmare' 'Greg and I sorted out his new flight straight away, we had to get him an indirect flight.
