Ricky Schroder 'won't be charged' in first arrest.. as actor gets jailed in ...

Hollywood actor Ricky Schroder is in jail after he was allegedly arrested for domestic abuse on Wednesday.

And the arrest comes less than a month after Ricky was arrested for allegedly hitting his girlfriend during an altercation over a video found on her phone, TMZ reports.

The actor, 49, won't be prosecuted by the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office for the first arrest - due to lack of evidence - after his girlfriend 'refused' to cooperate with police, the website reports.

According to the website, Ricky won't be prosecuted for the first arrest - April 2.

On Wednesday afternoon TMZ said the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office 'has declined to prosecute Rick for his April 2 arrest due to lack of sufficient evidence.'  

The website reported that he allegedly 'hit' his girlfriend and 'grabbed her hair' on April 2 because of a video on her phone that he found.

During the alleged altercation, he asked her to leave his home and she went to get her things - she told cops, TMZ reported.

He allegedly blocked her from going into the bedroom before 'hitting her in the face' when she tried to get away from him; She 'fell onto the kitchen table' before calling 911 about the altercation on April 2.

When cops arrived, she was 'extremely uncooperative,' TMZ reported and refused to answer their questions - and had 'redness and swelling on her cheek.'

She had also refused permission for the officers to take a picture of the 'injuries' and 'didn't want' him arrested.

Two days after the incident, cops followed up with her and she called it 'a big misunderstanding' and didn't want to press charges against Ricky.
