Avengers: Endgame has become the most tweeted about film of all time, with more than 50 million posts about the epic since the start of the year.
The movie, which opened on April 26, became the 10th highest grossing film of all time when it surpassed a total of $1.342 billion at the worldwide box office on Monday.
In addition to setting records with its ticket sales, Endgame has now topped the charts on Twitter - with almost half the 50 million total sent in the past week alone.

Avengers: Endgame saw the conclusion of the decade-long Infinity Saga - which documented Thanos' plot to wipe out half of the universe's living creatures.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, the franchise's villain was the most talked about character online - followed by Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr), Captain America (Chris Evans) and Hulk (Mark Ruffalo).
Tom Hiddleston's Loki also grabbed a top spot - despite the character only appearing in the three-hour-long epic for two minutes.
Spider-Man (Tom Holland) was the seventh most talked about character, followed by Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Groot (Vin Diesel) and Nebula (Karen Gillan) in tenth place.

Fans appeared most excited about the release in the US, with those in the country sending the most tweets about the film. They were followed by Marvel enthusiasts in Brazil, the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia and Japan.
