She stars as Lucy Stevens in the much-anticipated Pokémon Detective Pikachu movie.

And Kathryn Newton ensured all eyes were on her as she enjoyed a bold red carpet moment at the film's premiere at Military Island in Times Square, New York City, on Thursday evening.

The Paranormal Activity 4 star, 22, made a statement in a plunging pale pink gown featuring a lengthy, ruffled train.

The actress paired her dip hem dress with black peep toe heels and wore her golden locks tied half up, half down with a black bow.

Kathryn's hair accessory matched a black ribbon which flowed down the length of her puff-sleeve gown as she posed on the yellow carpet.

The Big Little Lies star wore a light layer of make-up and opted for a nude lip at the star-studded premiere.

Kathryn was joined at the event by her Detective Pikachu co-stars Ryan Reynolds and Justice Smith - who play Pikachu and Tim Goodman respectively.
