The nine bungalow complex is a favourite among A-listers - including recent guest Armie Hammer - due to its strict policy on privacy, and entry provided only by invitation from a committee.

Labelled an 'oasis in the middle of the city' for celebrities, the complex ensure members sign a code-of-conduct contract when they arrive and give their phones to members of staff, reports The New York Times.

When the phones are returned to them the cameras are covered with a San Vicente sticker, which ties in with owner Klein's belief 'Privacy is the new luxury.'

A source told the New York Post's Page Six column: 'Joe and Sophie chose to start their honeymoon in a romantic place where they can enjoy complete privacy. They can order whatever they like to their bungalow, and not have to worry at all about being seen or photographed.'
