Kerry Katona spends the day at a cafe during campaign for cancer charity

Kerry Katona spent the day getting to know some of the locals at a cafe in Craigend, Glasgow, as part of a campaign for Beatson Cancer Charity.

The TV personality, 38, put on a very animated display as she received a sweet kiss on the cheek from one of the guests at the afternoon meeting on Friday.

Kerry sat down for a cup of tea with some of the female members of the charity, as she aimed to raise some money for the foundation with a surprise appearance.

Kerry, who was clad in a lime green jumper and baker boy hat, also took part in an impromtu singalong when a guitar player joined the group in the cafe.

The former Atomic Kitten singer appeared in high spirits as she chatted to people in the cafe as well as taking selfies with some of her new acquaintances.

As well as visiting the tea rooms, Kerry also popped into a nearby pharmacy to help with the fundraising there as well.

Beatson Cancer Charity aims to support patients affected by cancer by trying to make their journey easier by changing the way care is funded and delivered.

The charity provides their own services as well as funding specialist treatment for patients who may not be able to afford it themselves.

Elsewhere, Kerry has just finished a run playing an Atomic Fairy alongside Basil Brush - but the show was predicted to be a flop after half the tickets did not sell within weeks of the opening night, The Mirror reports.
