Justin Bieber steps out with Hailey amid news he's returning to YouTube for ...

Justin Bieber is going back to his roots for a new project.

The 25-year-old was spotted stepping out with his wife Hailey Baldwin, 22, in New York City on Friday following an announcement by YouTube that they were partnering with the pop star.

Recently, Justin has been going through a lot of personal issues and took some time off to take care of his mental health.

Heading out of his New York City home, both Justin and Hailey wore somber expressions as they ducked into a waiting van.

The hitmaker wore skater-style navy blue sneakers with laces untied along with khaki green baggy pants and a hunter green T-shirt.

On top Justin rocked a bright red windbreaker and a navy baseball cap.

His model wife Hailey joined him wearing a monochromatic camel colored ensemble with a pricey pair of $995 Gucci fur slides.

The daughter of Stephen Baldwin looked sophisticated in tan knit culottes that were nipped at the waist with a matching belt and a baggy sweater with wide sleeves in the same color.

Her blonde hair was slicked back in her go-to low ponytail and she wore gold hoops with black Wayfarer sunglasses.

Hailey carried with her a petite structured black leather handbag, a book and a paper coffee cup.  

A day prior, YouTube announced that it was working with the A-list singer on a new 'top-secret project premiering next year' but wouldn't unveil any details. 

'[It] promises to be one of the most talked-about YouTube originals ever,' said Robert Kyncl, YouTube's chief business officer.

Kyncl made the announcement during YouTube's Brandcast event for advertisers.

The partnership is a sort of homecoming for Bieber who was plucked from obscurity from the platform by R&B singer Usher after he saw
