The Line Of Duty series five finale got off to a rip-roaring start on Sunday night, as lead Kate Fleming (Vicky McClure) was applauded by fans for delivering 'the best line of the series.'
As Fleming and Steve Arnott were left reeling from their gaffer Ted Hasting's arrest, they were interrupted by new recruit DI Michelle Brandyce who insisted they share any information with AC-3 who were investigating Hastings.
Protecting her boss, Kate bit back with a stellar line that had fans cheering.

'It's Michelle isn't it? Listen Michelle we're AC-12. We do this to other units week in, week out so don't try telling me how it works,' she replied when told her unit would have to share new information on Hastings.
'We're witnesses not suspects so stop making a t*t of yourself and p**s off.'
One of my fave lines of the series,' declared one delighted viewer, while another simply wrote: 'Ladies and gents, Queen Kate Fleming!'
