She's been preparing to show off her incredible style for the highly anticipated Met Gala.

And Poppy Delevingne looked ever the fashionista as she sauntered through the streets of New York ahead of the star-studded event on Monday.   

The 32-year-old style icon put on a chic display in chunky grey turtle neck sweater which she paired with a navy wool coat.

Proving she has class, the model opted for a pair of roll-up blue jeans which she paired with white trainers.

Sweeping her blonde locks into a high ponytail, Poppy went makeup free as she shielded her eyes from the sun with cats-eye sunglasses.

Toting a beige handbag and a bundle of designer shopping bags, the star clutched her phone as she headed to a taxi cab.

Poppy took to Instagram later in the day to share her preparations for the Met Gala, which included her elaborate skin care routine.
