Coronation Street's Sam Aston and his new wife Briony Gardner have been left devastated at their pet dog's death one day after their wedding.
The Chesney Brown actor, 25, and his yoga teacher partner tied the knot at Stock Farm in Cheshire on Sunday, in a ceremony attended by many of his soap co-stars.
But one day later, Briony shared the sad news that canine companion Buddy had tragically died.

'Now you can lick every cushion in the sky.'
She added: 'Sam I are so lucky to have have other through good times and bad thank you for the love.'
The heartbreaking news comes a little more than two weeks after Sam revealed his pet labrador Bella had died.
