The theme this year was 'camp'. 

And Amber Valletta had her own interesting interpretation as she stepped out onto the red carpet of the Met Gala in New York City on Monday. 

The 45-year-old model put on a very revealing display in a super high-cut bodysuit.

The Revenge actress risked a wardrobe malfunction in the skimpy leotard, which had structured shoulders but made it look a lot like she had forgotten her skirt. 

She appeared to wearing super sheer pantyhose, and added black heels. 

The star arrived wearing a neon green feathered jacket which she removed to showcase her stunning figure.

She styled her straight blonde tresses into a side parting with her bangs left loose from her sleek up-do. 

Expensive emerald and diamond earrings were her lavish accessory to her Anthony Vaccarello for Saint Laurent outfit. 

The star joked to Vogue on the red-carpet, that she's 'No pants girl!' for the event.

The Met Gala is the annual fundraiser for the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute and is the most glittery and exclusive event on the New York fashion calendar.

It is famous for attracting luminaries of Hollywood, of fashion, music, sports, TV and the stage for an evening of fashion and charity to mark the museum's spring exhibit.

This year, the exhibit and gala are dedicated to the idea of 'camp,' as defined by Susan Sontag's 1964 essay Notes on 'Camp.' 

The Met Gala, formally known as the Costume Institute Benefit, is always chaired by a team of high-wattage celebrities, and this year is no exception.
