Britney Spears is 'playing' mother Lynne for more freedom following ...

Britney Spears is said to be pushing for more freedom after mother Lynne filed a request to be informed on all matters relating to her daughter’s private and personal affairs, including her medication.

The 37-year old singer’s psychological condition is believed to be in 'bad shape' due to the failure of her current prescriptions as she continues to recover following her admission to a mental health facility in April.

But TMZ report she is still engineering greater autonomy from Lynne after the concerned 63-year old pushed to be involved in her conservatorship, which has been managed by the singer's father and Lynne's ex-husband Jamie for the past 11-years.

It's understood that Britney's relationship with her mother has previously been strained, with the publication claiming they hadn't spoken for a year prior to her recent health scare.

However Lynne is said to be respectful of Britney's desire for more control, while being wary that greater freedom could potentially cause a meltdown similar to the episode that saw her hospitalised in 2008.

The added concern is believed to be the singer's current mental state, with Britney reportedly unable to drive with her phone after security caught her texting while driving her car.

According to The Blast, Lynn has used her own attorney to file the paperwork and doesn't want to be left out of matters any more.

'Lynne Spears filed a request Monday morning, requesting special notice and asking to be informed of all matters pertaining to Britney and her conservatorship,' they reported.

The move comes as Jamie Spears has always been in charge of all things to do with Britney.

And while The Blast reported that Lynne spoke to Jamie before filing the documents with the court and they're on the same page regarding their daughter and her future, TMZ revealed on Monday that this was not the case.

According to the gossip site's sources, they reported that Lynne was not happy with the treatment Britney was receiving under Jamie's conservatorship.
