Annapurna Pictures is turning the recent college admissions scandal involving Lori Loughlin and Felicity Huffman into a new limited TV series entitled Accepted.

The limited series will be based on an upcoming book by Melissa Korn and Jen Levitz, with Emmy winning writer D.V. DeVincentis (American Crime Story) set to write the adapted series, according to Collider.

Korn and Levitz are both Wall Street Journal reporters who have covered the scandal since it broke in early March.

There is currently no network attached to the nascent series at this time, but given how this scandal has been a hot topic of conversation lately, there will likely be numerous networks and streaming services vying for this show.

The scandal first broke in mid-March, when over 50 people were indicted for their part in a criminal conspiracy to influence the admissions process at several prominent universities.

The two most prominent figures involved in the scandal were actresses Felicity Huffman, who has since plead guilty and written an open letter of apology, and Lori Loughlin, who has plead not guilty and also faces a money laundering charge.
