Game Of Thrones' fans are convinced Daenerys' dragon Drogon secretly had BABIES

Daenerys Targaryen's dragon Rhaegal met his tragic demise when he was shot down by Euron Greyjoy's fleet during last week's episode of Game Of Thrones.

Rhaegal's death left just one dragon in existence after another of Daenerys' beasts, Viserion, was turned into a blue-fire-breathing zombie by the Night King at the end of season seven, before shattering into ice with the rest of the White Walker army.

But Game Of Thrones' viewers are now convinced that the final dragon, Drogon, isn't the last creature to grace the skies of Westeros, according to a new fan theory.

Viewers have insisted that there are a brood of baby dragons who have been growing in Westeros, and they are apparently set to appear in next weeks episode.

The theory stems from Drogon's prolonged absence at the end of season four until mid-way into the fifth series of the hit HBO show, where Daenerys confides in her then lover Daario Naharis that she has 'no idea' where Drogon is.

Fans have been quick to jump on the hypothesis and claimed that it explains where Drogon went during his departure earlier in the series, as it is never really explained why he disappeared - and they believe laying eggs is a reasonable explanation.

One fan stood firm on the fact they predicted baby dragons ages ago, and wrote: 'I swear if Drogon actually had babies I was the first person to say it! Back when he/she went rogue I said this B done gone to give birth.'

Another was convinced the dragons will make an appearance next week, adding: 'I believe that Drogon disappeared in season four to protect his baby dragons until they were swole (big) and next week we're going to see an army of angsty teen dragons f**k up King's Landing.'

A third predicted that this could mean the end for Queen Cersei, writing: 'Words cannot explain how much I hope Drogon had babies back in s5
