Taraji P. Henson surprised her step mother Angie on Tuesday by giving her home a makeover, to thank her for her support 13 years after her father Boris' tragic passing.
The Empire star, 48, wanted to show Angie her gratitude to her parent and the act moved her to tears during the star's My Houzz series.
Explaining why it was important to show her gratitude, Taraji said: 'I met my step mom when I was 16. She just made my dad a better man. My dad was just lost.
