Taylor Swift's highly-anticipated seventh studio album doesn't have an official release date, but the singer did drop some new details about her highly-anticipated project in a new interview.
In her Entertainment Weekly cover story on Thursday, the 29-year-old singer said she didn't know much about the album upon first entering the studio, but she knew it had to be bigger.
'I try not to go into making an album with any expectation… I started to write so much that I knew immediately it would probably be bigger,' Swift said.

Swift also clarified that she is 'trying to convey an emotional spectrum,' and that, 'there's a lot of a lot on this album.'
'I definitely don't wanna have too much of one thing…you get some joyful songs and you get the bops, as they say,' Swift added.
She added, though, that there will be, 'really, really, really, really sad songs…not enough to where you need to worry about me.'
Swift has always had a very special connection with her fans, often surprising them in unique ways, and she said the fans have lead to this 'tonal shift' in her music.
