Ariana Grande is officially named the new face of Givenchy with a Breakfast at Tiffany's inspired announcement

Ariana Grande is adding a fashionable feather to her cap.

The 25-year-old was officially named the new face of Givenchy for the label's 2019 Fall and Winter campaign. 

Confirming earlier speculation that she scored the coveted role in a tweet on Friday, the French design house wrote that the popstar's campaign will be unveiled later this summer.

Fans had assumed that the God is a Woman hitmaker was slated to become the new face of Givenchy after she and the label shared a series of teaser images on Thursday.

The black and white photos and videos were shot in silhouette and mostly showed Grande's signature extra-long ponytail.

In the teasers, Ariana is wearing a formfitting black dress with cutouts at her shoulder blades and her ponytail is adorned with an oversized pearl headband.

The dress was mighty familiar to many and appeared to be similiar to the one worn by Audrey Hepburn in  the opening scene of 1961's Breakfast at Tiffany's. 

Hepburn made the little black dress a timeless closet staple with the iconic Italian satin garment designed by her best friend Hubert de Givenchy.
