Spider-Man: Far From Home is expected to pick up right where Avengers: Endgame left off, five years after the devastating snap at the end of Infinity War.
And Tom Holland was left feeling a bit confused when Jimmy Kimmel pointed out a plot hole to him and his co-stars Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Jake Gyllenhaal and Cobie Smulders during their appearance on Thursday's edition of the show.
The presenter stumped the group when he asked 22-year-olds Tom, Zendaya, and Jacob, why their characters were still in high school if the film is set five years after they were originally in the education system.

When asked the question Tom had his head in his hands, but shot up and wore a confused look as he turned to the others and asked: 'Why are we still in high school?'
Jacob responded: 'I mean it might be one of the biggest plot holes of all time.'
When Jimmy asked Cobie if she might be able to give an answer, she admitted: 'I don’t want to pull that thread, but you know I don’t know.'
