She's been called 'one of the most influential figures in the Australian fashion industry'.

And it's no surprise why, as Pip Edwards and her design partner Claire Tregoning pulled off an Australian Fashion Week first when they showcased their joint collaboration with Speedo on Monday.

The P.E Nation co-founder actually made it rain as her models stormed the runway in their swimwear designs, with water pouring on them from above.

Pip explained that she wanted to display her new collection in a way that was different to your usual swimwear showcase.

Speaking to The Daily Telegraph, she revealed how she wanted to put on a 'dark and emotive' catwalk show by creating a setting that was a stark contrast to one normally inspired by the sun or the beach.

Instead, she opted to have water falling onto the models and the catwalk as they presented the collection to a style-loving crowd.
