At the 2019 Billboard Music Awards, Julianne, 30, was smacked in the face by none other than 56-year-old Paula Abdul's hat during her performance, which Hough gushed about while on the Today show in New York City on Monday.

According to the blonde, the incident is one she is 'honored' to have been a part of.

As she talked, the beauty wore a stunning red two piece set with her choppy, short hair in waves.

She paired the pant and crop top combo with see through pointed heels.
