John Wick action star Keanu Reeves surprised host Stephen Colbert and his audience while discussing the topic of death on Friday.

When Colbert asked what Reeves thought happened to people after they die, the evergreen 54-year-old paused before replying: 'I know that the ones who love us will miss us.'

The Beirut-born Canadian's profound response earned him a firm handshake from the 56-year-old ordained minister and an audible 'Awwww' from the previously chuckling audience.
