Jameela Jamil looks sensational in a bold pink trouser suit at a New York event

She recently revealed the abortion she had when she was younger was the 'best decision she ever made' as she hit out at Georgia's controversial new law.

And Jameela Jamil looked eye-catching in a shocking pink trouser suit as she attended a WarnerMedia event at Madison Square Garden in New York on Wednesday. 

The actress, 33, looked sensational in the colourful satin ensemble which featured stylish cropped trousers and sleeves. 

Proving she is a style queen, Jameela teased black lingerie under the bold suit which showed off her toned figure.

The Hollywood star opted for a pair of statement strappy black heels and finished the look with glittering earrings.

She wore her signature raven tresses in effortless curls, and opted for a dramatic winged eyeliner and a red lip.

It comes after Jameela admitted that the abortion she had when she was younger was 'the best decision' she has ever made as she hit out at Georgia's new controversial 'heartbeat bill'. 

The actress weighed in on the new abortion law which will make it illegal for women to have an abortion after a heartbeat has been detected in the womb.

Drawing on her own experiences, the model explained she had an abortion because she wasn't 'emotionally, physically or financially' ready to have a child.

She wrote: 'I had an abortion when I was young, and it was the best decision I have ever made. 

'Both for me, and for the baby I didn’t want, and wasn’t ready for, emotionally, psychologically and financially. So many children will end up in foster homes. So many lives ruined. So very cruel.' 

Later in another post, Jameela defended her decision to have an abortion as she insisted it was 'my body, my choice' when she hit out at the legislation. 

The Good Place star slammed the anti-abortion law in Georgia as 'so upsetting, inhumane and demonstrative of a hatred of women'.

She wrote: 'I DON’T GIVE A FLYING F**K WHAT YOU THINK OF MY DECISION. MY BODY. MY CHOICE. 

'This anti-abortion law in Georgia is so upsetting, inhumane, and blatantly demonstrative of a hatred of women, a disregard for our rights, bodies, mental health, and essentially a punishment for rape victims, forcing to carry the baby of their rapist.'
