The eighth season of The Voice Australia is set to premiere on Channel Nine on Sunday. 

And Sonia Kruger has admitted that sparks do indeed fly between the coaches, and it is Boy George who is the catalyst. 

'Right off the blocks on the first day of filming, George was just fired up!' Sonia, 53, told OK! magazine on Thursday.

'He storms off at one point.

'There's a lot that goes on among the coaches this year that's for sure!' she added.

According to the TV presenter, although George is known for his 'diva' behaviour, he did have a good reason to be upset.

The mother-of-one explained that the English singer took something another coach said the wrong way, which caused a major rift between the panel.
