A Grenfell Tower survivor stunned the Britain's Got Talent audience leaving them and viewers at home in floods of tears following a powerful performance.
Leanne Mya, 31, sang an emotional version of Sam Smith's hit Lay Me Down which won praise from the judges, including David Walliams who dubbed the song both 'beautiful' and 'extraordinary'.
The contestant took to the stage ahead of her performance to tell the crowd that following a difficult 19-months since the tragedy she hoped to do something positive with her life.

When questioned about her reason for entering the show, although clearly very emotional, she said: 'The last 19 months have been really, really difficult.
'Very briefly I'm a survivor from Grenfell Tower and I just made a decision that I'm going to do something positive, and try to make something positive out of something negative.'
After Leanne had finished her version of the song, Alesha Dixon commented on the 'beautiful atmosphere' in the room which she had created with the performance.
