Lisa Curry feels she is owed a silver medal from the 1980 Moscow Games, and is determined to get an official acknowledgement in the Olympic records.
The Australian swimmer, who placed fifth in the 100 metre butterfly, claims she has 'proof' the gold, silver and bronze medalists in the race were 'doping'.
'They don't want to open up a can of worms,' said Lisa, 57, of both the International and Australian Olympic Committees to The Daily Telegraph on Sunday.
'They don't want to open up a can of worms': Lisa Curry blasted the Olympic Committee on Sunday and said she's OWED a silver medal after a 'doping' scandal at the 1980 Moscow Games
Lisa continued: 'All we need is an acknowledgment from the people at the top of the Olympic ladder and they are not prepared to do it.'
The athlete said she would like a 'commemorative type of medal that's actually presented to us in a sporting environment'.
She also claimed the committees' 10-year statute of limitations for investigating doping offenses is an 'excuse' to avoid 'opening a can of worms'.
