The Australian actress is best known for her comedic film roles.
But there was no joking matter when Rose Byrne spoke about the importance of feminism in the June edition of InStyle Magazine Australia.
The 39-year-old star said it was important for women to be feminists, however adding: 'but saying you're a feminist has had this overshadow of [hating] men.'

Rose, who is the mother of three sons, has starred in comedy flicks Bridesmaids, Bad Neighbours, and Instant Family.
'If a feminist means to treat and be treated equally,
