And on Monday's episode of the investigative program, the reporter confronted Sydney tradie Dylan Dahl over a fatal crash which killed his friend, 18, in 2016. However, during the awkward exchange, Dylan failed to remove his wireless earbuds and completely ignored the journalist's questions. 'Why did you get behind the wheel that night?' Appearing bemused by her presence, Dylan pointed to his earphones, with Sylvia then stumbling: 'If you, er, take your headphones out you'll be able to hear.' The 33-year-old reporter was 'redeployed' from Nine's Today show to A Current Affair back in February Dylan Dahl, 24, was high on drugs when he crashed his car into a tree on a stretch of road near Wollongong, an hour south of Sydney, in November 2016. Passenger Jayke Robinson, 18, burned to death in the fatal accident, as the car burst into flames after a passing motorist dragged Dylan from the wreckage. In 2018, Dylan pleaded guilty to negligent driving, speeding at more than 100km/h in an 80km/h zone, admitting to having ice and ecstasy in his system, 7News reported. While the judge did consider jail time, he only sentenced Dylan to pay a $250 fine, a four year driving ban and 200 hours community service.
