Megan Barton Hanson has spoken candidly about her decision to undergo surgery as a teenager after finding it 'painful' to look at herself in the mirror.
The Love Island star, 25, admitted that relentless bullying at school led to her pleading with her mum if she could get cosmetic surgery, after confessing that she 'didn't feel good' about the way she looked.
Megan revealed during an interview with the Mirror that it was quite a drawn-out process, where she took the time to convince her mother and then research the procedures and surgeons she wanted.

Offering words of advice to anyone considering going under the knife, she said: 'Ensure you’re doing it for you. It takes time to research a surgeon, know the risks. Every morning I woke up and didn’t feel good. Looking in the mirror was painful almost.'
The reality star confessed that she had certain areas of her body that she was particularly conscious of, one of which were her ears.
She said: 'At school kids can be so nasty. It was getting to me every day. I’d tie my hair back and my ears stuck out. Boys
