Her stage name is a play on the well known brand of rum Bacardi.

So it comes as no surprise that Cardi B has aspirations to launch into the world of alcoholic beverages and the rapper is also apparently taking her new venture to television.

It's being reported that the Bodak Yellow hitmaker has filed a trademark application for the name 'Bocktails with Cardi B'.

According to TMZ the TV plans include 'entertainment services in the nature of providing ongoing episodes for distribution via television and the Internet featuring celebrities and artists.'

As well as a show with the name Bocktails with Cardi B, the rapper is requesting the trademark for a range of products including clothing.

According to TMZ this will apparently include t-shirts, sweatshirts, caps, footwear, skirts, dresses, blouses, sweaters, pants and shorts.'
