She confirmed her new Weight Watchers' newest ambassador gig on Thursday, in a rumoured '$250,000 deal'.

And Samantha Armytage, 42, has revealed she did not have to go on a diet to achieve her 10kg weight loss.

Speaking on Sunrise, Sam joked that while her dog Banjo, who was featured in her weight loss photo shoot with Australian Women's Weekly, is on a diet - she is not.

'He's on a diet but I'm not. It's just a way of life,' the TV presenter said.  

Explaining her role in more detail to her Channel Seven co-hosts, Sam said her weight loss is all about health and wellness.

'It's about being healthy and feeling strong and fit,' she said adding she can still drink wine and eat cake.

'It's not all about weight loss - but guess what I've lost 10kg.'
