Samantha Armytage tucks into a low-calorie meal and boasts of 'feeling stronger' in her first TV advert as a Weight Watchers ambassador

She was announced as the latest celebrity ambassador for Weight Watchers, now known as WW, on Thursday.

And Samantha Armytage looked simply glowing in her first TV advert for the weight loss program, which will be rolled out in the coming weeks.

In the commercial, the 42-year-old Sunrise host showed off her recent 10kg weight loss in a blue shirt and slim-fit black pants.

She is seen arriving home with a friend, carrying healthy produce in large brown paper bags. 

The duo are then shown happily preparing a healthy meal in the kitchen before eating it at the dinner table. 

In a voiceover for the ad, Sam says: 'I've discovered a weight loss and wellness program that works. I feel stronger, better and in control of my body.'
