Westlife triumphantly return to the stage as they kick off their 20th ...

They are returning to the music scene to mark 20 years as a band.

So Westlife - comprising of Kian Egan, Nicky Byrne, Shane Filan and Mark Feehily - were sure to delight their fans as they kicked off their 20th anniversary tour in Belfast on Wednesday evening after which they gushed over the special moment.

As they were watched by chat show legend Jonathan Ross, their long-time manager Louis Walsh and 10,000 fans, Mark said to the crowd: 'This is a very special moment for all of us. It is great to be back doing what we love'.

The foursome have been devoting themselves to their fitness ahead of their UK, Ireland and Asia tour, with insiders revealing they have been hitting the gym, rehearsing endlessly and boosting their stamina with yoga sessions.

Things went off without a hitch on Wednesday evening as they took to the stage in stylish military jackets to perform a mix of new and old tracks.

Nicky, who also gave a shout-out to Jonathan, said to the crowds: 'It was fantastic to play to a Belfast crowd and in front of all of our families. This means more to us now than ever before. The reaction has been incredible.'

Speaking straight after the concert, the boys said: 'We genuinely missed each other and missed the buzz of performing on stage together. It is incredible to be back...
