And the heartache is clearly still very raw for the 51-year-old entertainment reporter, who broke down in tears on Friday while reflecting on her loss. During a segment on Studio 10, Angela confessed that she identified with Blanche D'Alpuget's grief following the death of her husband Bob Hawke earlier this month. Even more poignantly, it would have been the couple's wedding anniversary this week Referencing Blanche's recent tearful TV interview, Angela said: 'When she spoke of the privilege of being with him at that time as a carer, that's true. I can't quite put it into words yet, but...' Fighting back tears, she added that the end of a person's life 'is a very special time'. 'There was a lot of honesty there. I kind of get what she's saying, it's a very pure moment of love,' she said. Angela, was discussing Blanche D'Alpuget's tearful recollections of her last days with her husband Bob Hawke, who died on May 16, aged 89. I can't quite put it into words yet, but...,' said Angela Angela, who has an 11-year-old daughter from her marriage to Peter, also revealed it would have been the couple's 15-year wedding anniversary this week. During the emotional segment, she was comforted by her fellow Studio 10 panelists, Joe Hildebrand and Denise Drysdale and host Sarah Harris. Earlier this month, Angela said that Peter had maintained a positive outlook right up until the end of his life, which has inspired her to move on. The blonde TV presenter had difficulty continuing, but managed to add in a quavering voice: 'It's a very special time. There was a lot of honesty there. I kind of get what she's saying, it's a very pure moment of love.' Angela is pictured with the couple's daughter, Amelia, 11 'I try to have gratitude wherever possible because that's how Pete went through things,' she told The Daily Telegraph. The couple married in May 2005 and they welcomed their daughter, Amelia, in 2007.
