The Cure kicked off the first of five shows at Vivid Live in Sydney on Friday night.
The legendary British rock group performed onstage to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their album 'Disintegration', the group's landmark 1989 album.
The five-piece, made up of Robert Smith, Simon Gallup, Roger O'Donnell, Jason Cooper and Reeves Gabrels played their hits in front of a spectacular light show.

Earlier this month the rockers announced a fifth and final Vivid Live concert, which will take place on May 30.
They will live stream the performance via YouTube and Facebook for fans across the world.
