Elyse Knowles and Josh Barker's plans for their $1million South Melbourne mansion have reportedly been opposed by their neighbours.
The Block 2017 winners submitted plans in March for the partial demolition of the pad - which they bought last year - and the addition of a basement, rooftop terrace and garden.
But their neighbours have allegedly filed 18 objections to the couple's ideas, with one resident angrily claiming they're trying to make a 'ridiculously oversized' home in a 'working-class' area.

An anonymous neighbour told The Herald Sun's Page 13: 'This is our home, but they just want to develop and leave us with the deluge.'
'These are modest homes in what was traditionally a modest working-class area, with working-class cottages.'
