'Hopefully the vocals will get better!' Apologetic Mel B addresses criticism over Spice Girls sound gaffe... after fans WALKED out of first reunion tour concert over shoddy quality By Ellie Phillips For Mailonline Published: 09:31 BST, 25 May 2019 | Updated: 09:38 BST, 25 May 2019 Viewcomments Mel B has addressed the backlash to the Spice Girls' debut Dublin gig. In an early morning, Scary Spice uploaded a video to Instagram in which she admitted there were sound and vocal problems at the group's debut Dublin gig - and pledged to improve the sound quality for the next show. A fresh-faced Mel, 43, shared the candid video at 6am the day after the first gig on their reunion tour. Speaking into the camera whilst lying in bed, she appeared irked as she said: 'Hey guys thank you for attending our show tonight in Dublin. 'We will see you in Cardiff and hopefully the vocals and the sound will be much, much better." The mother-of-three then made an exasperated, and purposefully audible, sigh.
