He owns half of the beloved South Sydney Rabbitohs team.

And on Saturday night, actor Russell Crowe certainly seemed content with his expensive investment. 

Watching proudly from the stands of Sydney's ANZ Stadium, Russell, 55, was seen looking joyful as he cheered on his team who were playing against the West Tigers.

The usually incredibly reclusive Russell was seen laughing and clapping as he took in the surrounding patriotic atmosphere. 

Russell stood in tall in the teams signature red merchandise jumper as he mingled with other Rabbitohs fans, including several children who donned the teams signature colours of red and green.

At one point, Russell even smiled for the cameras
