He famously stepped down from his hosting role on ABC's much-loved Hard Quiz on Friday.
But that hasn't stopped comedian Tom Gleeson, 44, from scooping up a nomination for TV Week's Logie Awards.
Tom's bid for the coveted Gold Logie for Most Popular Personality on Australian Television was announced on Sunday, at the official nomination party at The Star on the Gold Coast.

Tom has also been nominated for Most Popular Presenter and his show Hard Quiz has been nominated for Most Popular Entertainment Program.
The nominations come despite Tom's sudden departure from the hit ABC show, which he said was doing so he could focus solely on his stand-up comedy.
In a Tweet sent out on Friday, Tom wrote: 'I've decided to step down as the host of Hard Quiz and discontinue production of the show.
