Samantha Armytage was rumoured to have signed a $250,000 deal with Weight Watchers to become their newest ambassador.

But it's now been reported that the Sunrise star was paid double that amount  to front the weight loss brand.

The 42-year-old raked in a staggering $500,000 with her new partnership, according to reports in The Sydney Morning Herald on Monday.

The Daily Telegraph had initially claimed Samantha's contract with WW is 'likely to be worth $250,000'.

Daily Mail Australia has contacted Samantha's spokersperson for comment.

The Channel Seven personality announced last week that she is the brand's latest ambassador - as well as revealing she's lost 10kg.

'Thrilled to announce I'm joining forces with Weight Watchers as their newest ambassador!' Samantha wrote on Instagram.
