He was cast to play the starring role as pop icon Elton John in the soon-to-be-released film Rocketman last year.
And Taron Egerton has revealed he has a stronger connection to the eccentric singer than most after auditioning for drama school with his famous ballad Your Song.
'I can genuinely claim Elton fandom since I was in my early teens really,' the 29-year-old told 10 Daily.
