He was once Australia's most eligible Bachelor, but now Tim Robards struggles to get people to talk to him on domestic flights.

In a lengthy Instagram post on Monday, the 37-year-old Neighbours star revealed he often tries to engage people in conversation on planes.

However, he has recently found that most passengers don't want to talk to him.

Tim headlined his post, 'Diaries of a Frequent Flyer', adding that 'it's been a while' since he had a decent conversation during a flight.

But that all changed this week, when he met a 'lovely' woman named Jane, who told him all about life as busy mother to four sons.
