Viewership has continued to plummet since Karl Stefanovic's departure from Today, particularly in the 44-year-old's home state of Queensland.
The new lineup, featuring Georgie Gardner and Deborah Knight as co-hosts, has failed to appeal, especially to metro viewers in Brisbane.
However, newly-appointed entertainment reporter Brooke Boney, 32, brushed off any criticism, telling The Sun Herald that gelling with a new team is always 'a process'.
'We're gelling more than we did a few months ago': Brooke Boney, 32, admitted to The Sun Herald, that bonding with a new cast is always 'a process' as Today show ratings plummet
'I think it's the same as any new team - we're all gelling together, more than (we were) a couple of months ago,' Brooke revealed.
'It's a process,' she added. 'A couple of months down the line we'll be even stronger.'
The former Triple J star went on to say that she tries to disregard online criticism, particularly when it comes to dwindling ratings.
'If I'm doing really well, they'll let me know, and if I'm not, they'll let me know too.'
