Liam Gallagher reveals he is suffering from ARTHRITIS in his hips

Liam Gallagher has revealed he has been suffering from arthritis in his hips but declared his painful treatment is  'still rock ‘n’ roll' in a new interview with Q Magazine.

The former Oasis frontman, 46, has been told  by doctors to cut down on jogging after developing the condition, which causes pain and inflammation in a joint.

The condition has also caused the Wonderwall singer to develop calf pain, for which he is seeing an acupuncturist.

Discussing the painful treatment, he said: 'This geezer is mega, he doesn’t f**k about. He gets the needles and whacks them in.  

'He sorts it but it keeps coming back. Acupuncture is alright, at least it’s needles. 

'I can convince myself it’s still a bit rock ‘n’ roll.'

The candid interview comes as   Liam once again slammed brother Noel for 'splitting Oasis up' and said it's 'no wonder they hate each other' in a dramatic new trailer for documentary, As It Was.

The star will release the hotly anticipated film - which follows his journey from 'boredom, booze and legal battles' to successful solo artist with his 2017 debut As You Were and sell-out concerts - on June 7.

The Cigarettes and Alcohol hitmaker candidly discussed the break-up of the iconic band in 2009, as well as revealing fractious relations between the brothers showed no sign of cooling. 

The clip opens with footage of the band in their heyday, performing to massive crowds and indulging in typically rock and roll behaviour.

Slamming Noel, he continues: 'The geezer split my band up, no wonder we f*****g hate each other.

The brothers' mother Peggy is seen expressing her wishes for her sons to reconcile as he visits her at home in Ireland, saying: 'A new year and they're all going to get on together.'

But Liam is unable to contain his vitriol towards Noel and when he sees a photo with wife Sara MacDonald, he points and says: 'F*****g Prince Philip and f*****g whatever she's called.

The latest swipe at Sara comes after Liam unleashed a torrent of abuse at his estranged brother and his wife in 2018 likening them to 'serial killers' 

He also compared her to Russian president Vladimir Putin in a Twitter rant.

The star took to Twitter to share a message with his followers, but couldn't resist mentioning Sara.

He wrote: 'Had a severe chest infection since Paris not long now Sara as you were LG x'. 

When one fan queried why Liam would mention Sara's name, he bit back: 'Coz I need to let the world know she's up there with Putin.'

When one follower shared a photo of Liam kissing his sister-in-law he responded 'that makes me feel worse.'
