Keanu Reeves was all over social media the last few days, and it wasn't because of his blockbuster John Wick: Chapter 3.
An interview with the 54-year-old action star published Tuesday by Malaysian site Star2.com included a passage in which he called himself 'the lonely guy' and said he didn't 'have anyone in [his] life' after being asked what love meant to him.
But a rep for Keanu said the story is a 'fabricated' concoction of made up answers and snippets stolen from other interviews, according to HuffPost on Friday.

The interview, credited to a Philip Berk, begins with standard yet hackneyed questions about his most famous role as Neo from The Matrix.
Immediately afterward, the interviewer allegedly asked, 'What does love mean to you?'
'You mean romantic love? You know, I’m the lonely guy,' he supposedly replied. 'I don’t have anyone in my life. But if it does occur, I would respect and love the other person; hopefully it’ll happen for me.'
After the interviewer asked if he was content being a 'lonely guy,' he responded, 'I don’t concern myself with it that much. I’m an actor, so in terms of what you’re asking about, I have no answer.'
