Dave Hughes has reportedly 'quit his role opening the TV Week Logie Awards'.

After four-years kicking off the glamorous event, the 48-year-old is allegedly 'done' with the top gig, as reported by The Australian on Monday. 

He is said to have 'told organisers in no uncertain terms that he is done with the job'.

Instead, the publication claimed that Dave will 'give himself and his family a well-earned European holiday' when the ceremony commences on June 30.
