Westlife proudly announce they are taking their Twenty Tour to Asia

They returned to the music scene after twenty years with their anniversary tour in May.

And Westlife - comprising of Kian Egan, Nicky Byrne, Shane Filan and Mark Feehily -have another reason to celebrate as they are taking their Twenty Tour further afield to Asia in July and August.

The huge demand to see the Irish foursome, who have together knocked up a staggering fourteen No.1 singles, has led to a decision to take the tour global which will delight the band’s huge fan base in Southeast Asia where they will perform ten massive stadium concerts.

Speaking about Westlife’s comeback and taking their tour to Asia, Louis Walsh who manages the band said:

'The response to Westlife’s return has been better than we could have imagined. It is fantastic to be taking it global.

'We have come back with hit songs from Ed Sheeran and lots of hard work. This is a huge success because of the hard work that Westlife have put into choosing and recording the best songs.

'There is a real maturity about how Westlife has approached the comeback and I have to believe that is why the sales for the tickets went so well.'

Proving that the band are also excited, Nicky shared at the Manchester Arena last night: 'The reaction to the twenty Tour has been phenomenal. We’re overwhelmed by the response and we are so happy to be back performing to our fans.'

Meanwhile, fellow band member Mark Feehily, who announced this week that he is expecting a baby with boyfriend Cailean O’Neill, said: 'It is great to be back doing what we love and we cannot wait to take this tour to new places.'
