Work continued in earnest on Monday afternoon as co-stars David Jason and Tim Healy filmed their latest scenes on the set of Still Open All Hours.

The actors were dressed as respective characters Granville and Gastric while shooting a comical scene on Lister Avenue in Doncaster, the show's traditional home.

Wearing his trademark brown grocer's coat, Jason, 79, adopted Granville's bemused expression as the hapless shopkeeper accosted Gastric in the street.

The character appeared to be unhappy with Gastric, who wore a helmet, goggles and a navy blue boiler suit while standing atop a four-wheeled vehicle.

The kooky wagon featured a huge banner emblazoned with the words: 'YOUR LOCAL PRESS WE COME TO YOU.'

Jason was later seen reading his lines after settling into a chair during a welcome break between scenes.
