Amy Schumer is hoping for the sympathy vote to get nominated in September's Primetime Emmys.
In a tongue-in-cheek For Your Consideration video, the comedian gave a very raw glimpse into the extent of the vomiting she suffered during her pregnancy and how she kept working through the worst of it.
The 38-year-old actress, who welcomed her first child last month, made no secret of her struggle with extreme morning sickness, known as Hyperemesis gravidarum.

In the clip she shared to Instagram on Tuesday Amy presented a montage of puking, with the Trainwreck star revealing she burst blood vessels around her eyes from throwing up so much.
'I threw up so hard yesterday that I popped all the blood vessels,' the actress said in a selfie video as she pointed to her eye area.
