And on Wednesday, media expert Steve Molk expressed concerns that producers could try to 'surprise' an unsuspecting groom with a transgender partner at the altar for shock value and ratings. 'I 100 per cent reckon it would be a "stunt marry" situation,' Steve said on the TV Blackbox podcast. 'I believe it would be a "stunt marry" situation!' Steve added that producers could be 'looking... to find someone that is going to react poorly' to being matched unknowingly with a transgender woman. Sarah observed that it would be a difficult situation for any male participant, as they would feel pressure to be 'open to it' or risk looking like a 'bigoted a***hole' on TV. On Tuesday, Daily Mail Australia exclusively revealed that MAFS producers are grilling potential grooms to find out if they're open to dating somebody who has switched genders. 'The producer asked me if I wanted to date a transgender woman during my interview,' one male applicant told Daily Mail Australia. Surprise! 'I'm not close minded and I have no issue with someone changing their sex, but as far as dating someone who’s had a sex change, I just couldn't do that.'
